O loving Lord, You love us beyond measure. We offer this prayer in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Hear this prayer and give me full recovery. I undergo a lot of suffering in my body because of this illness and I have fear also. As I think of my weakness, my sorrows multiply. Fear grips me as thoughts of death overcome me. In spite of the medical treatment, there is no relief for me and I am agonized as the disease continues without end. All the money that I had saved has been spent. I should not become a burden to my children or my relatives. I yearn for a miraculous healing through Jesus Christ. Sometimes the unbearable pain in the body caused by the illness is so terrible and horrifying. As a result, I prefer death to this sort of life. O Lord, have mercy on me. You have borne my illness and weaknesses on the cross. It is written that we were healed by Your stripes (1 Pet. 2:24). I plead for healing as promised in Your word. Do not delay any further but heal me in a miraculous way. O Lord, I am a sinner who has done things unacceptable to You, deviating from Your way. Forgive me and make joy abound in me. Uphold me with Your righteous hand. Let Your wounded hands touch me and heal me. You who swallowed death would wipe away tears from all faces. Wipe away my tears. Help me to be healed from all pains. You extended the life span of King Hezekiah listening to his prayers saying: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.” Give me this miraculous healing in my life also. Let me have favour in Your eyes. I praise with the belief that You would do everything for me. I thank You. In the name of Jesus Christ I make this prayer, O good Father. Amen.
