Loving God, I thank You for this good time of prayer. I thank You for all the good things You have done in my life. I thank You for the miracles You did and for enabling me to see my children’s children as You had promised me. I earnestly pray for the future of my life. As promised in Psalm 92:14, “They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,” bless me. O Lord, help me to sleep well during night time. Let me not have any frightening dreams during sleep as is the case with many old people. Let me not suffer as Isaac did with lack of sight in old age; give me good sight till the end. Some suffer loss of memory with age; let that not be the case with me. Give me good memory till the end. I thank and praise You for the memory You have given me. Grant me good health and strength to do everything myself as it is today in my old age also. Help me to see the good life of my children’s children and give the spirit of pleas to plead for them. O Jesus Christ, I thank you with the belief that You would do that. I make this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, O good Father. Amen.
