“For He will deliver the needy when he cries, the poor also, and him who has no helper” Psalm72:12

Dearly beloved in Christ,

I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! I was called to dine with a Pastor. At that time, he asked whether I knew a particular person he mentioned. I told him that I had no knowledge of him. Then he told me that I had shared with him the gospel of Christ and that he was attending that church and was giving offering enthusiastically. With the details he gave, I figured out that person and told him that I knew him. I had met him at the roadside. With him was a servant of the Lord who prayed for him. I was asked to pray for him. I told him that there were many posters pasted on the inner wall of his house. I asked him why he had them. In a mourning voice he then shared with me that he had four children living in a big house. Because of failure in his life, he had to mortgage his house which he could never redeem. He had no income or money. As the house was occupied by the person to whom it was mortgaged, we had to move out. At this stage they made a shed adjoining the compound wall for all of his family. All the six members of the family dwelt there. I prayed for them and told them that the Lord Jesus Christ loved them. I told them things would change if only they loved the Lord. I asked him to go to this church that was nearby for worship. The pastor narrated the rest of the story. He had begun to wonder how I knew about the posters in his house and began to attend the church. He had two sons and two daughters. The way opened for one of his sons to go abroad. His friend made all the arrangements for him without expecting any money from him. He thus went abroad and began earning money. He also began to send several thousands of rupees to his father every month. In a few months he took his brother also abroad and helped him get employed there. Their father went to the church regularly and paid the tithe every month. He could redeem his house. His daughter also got employed abroad and so they were giving a lot of money as offering. If we really seek the Lord with the whole heart and keep the Sabbath as the glorious day of the Lord, the Lord would certainly bless us and you would be joyful in the Lord. May the Lord bless you!
