A PRAYER FOR STRENGTH IN CHRIST

O loving Lord, I thank You for this good time of prayer. I praise and thank You for answering so many of my prayers in the past and for protecting me and my family from many difficult situations. You know all my weaknesses, O Lord! You know the weakness in my body for the last few days. You have assured us, “... I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10). Through Your abundant grace and love, give new strength. Sometimes I am led to think that it is all because of age that weaknesses increase. I know that You alone can strengthen and guide me. I thank and praise You. There was no weakness seen among the Israelites whom You led in the wilderness for 40 years. Their leg did not get swollen. This is written. O Jesus Christ! Have mercy on me. I plead with You for strengthening me as the legs are swollen because of diabetes / blood pressure causing me pain. It is written in Psalm 29:11, “The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.” Believing this, I wait upon You to strengthen me. Renew my strength and help me to mount up like eagles. Let me not get weary even when I run. Give me strength in my soul so that I do not fear, but get strengthened in my soul and emboldened to bear witness for You and exalt Your name. You alone can give me strength in my spirit to talk about Your name. Help me to be strengthened in my body, soul and spirit, and to live for You. In the name of Jesus Christ, I make this prayer, O good Father. Amen.
