A PRAYER FOR GOOD SLEEP

O God, I know that You love me, and therefore I come before You in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. I pray for deliverance from all defects and shortcomings in my life as You are the One who hears prayers and removes all shortcomings in our lives . Lord, You give sleep to Your beloved. Have mercy on me. At night times, I find it very difficult to sleep in bed. I lie on the bed without any sleep for a long time. I am disturbed. This affects my performance at work. O Jesus Christ, You are the Prince of Peace. Have mercy on me and give me sleep. Give me the grace to do my work with good enthusiasm and energy. It is long since I had good sleep. Have mercy on me, O Jesus Christ. Touch me with Your loving hands and bless me. Make me worthy to be Your beloved. Help me to do things that are pleasing to You. I have received a lot of blessings from You. You have heard my prayers and graciously delivered me from all my pains in the body. Only You can give deep sleep to man. As I am unable to sleep, many evil thoughts crop up and terrify me. Some sinful thoughts and confusing ideas arise and make me lose my peace. O Jesus Christ, have mercy on me. Help me to have good sleep from today. Let me have Your grace and favour. You have said that anyone who asks receives. Listen to my prayer and do a wonder. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, O Father. Amen.
