“...seek, and you will find...”

                                                                                                                                                              Matthew 7:7

Beloved in Christ,

I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Once a young man studying in a college played for some time at the college grounds before going back home. As he was taking bath at his house, he found that the chain he had been wearing was missing. He realized that it should have fallen at the ground where he played. It was already dark. He took a torch and went back to his college ground. It was a newly started college and therefore there weren’t many people there. There was the watchman of the college with a few others. He informed the watchman about his loss when he played football that evening and got his permission to search the ground for the chain. He searched the ground inch by inch focusing the torch on the ground. At a particular place, he found it lying. He had immense joy. It was a gift given to him by someone. He went home happy.

Dear Brother/ Sister, you may be like this brother who had lost his gold chain. You may have lost something in life and may be in sorrows. Have you lost the joy or peace you had thus far in life? Have you lost fellowship in the family? Whatever be your loss for whatever be the reason, the Lord can restore it. Where did you lose it? Go back and do some searching to find out where and how you lost it. The Lord will help to get it back. The Lord will open the doors for you to see for yourself how and where you lost it. Would you take measures to set right the broken links? To regain the lost, you may have to set things right. The Lord will help you in your attempt and effort. Seek the Lord with the whole heart. It is possible to regain the lost happiness and to live a happy life. Do not be dismayed. Do not get discouraged. Seek in the presence of the Lord, and you will have it with joy. Like that brother, you too can get back the lost things. Let us be careful not to lose what God has given freely. Let there be no slackness in seeking Him.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Bro.
