O God of love, I praise You for this time of prayer. You have led me in the past in a peaceful and happy way. I thank You for that. O Lord, these days many struggles engulf me and make me sorrowful. I offer this prayer for these sorrows to end and a new life to blossom. I desired to build a house and to live in my own house. But I could not complete it. Because the neighbour created problems for me, I could not continue the work. This incompletion of the house makes me sorrowful. Further, my daughter/ Son had not got admission in a good college to continue her/ his studies. This college where she/ he has got admission is distant from our house, that it would be impossible to go daily from our house. This saddens me. My spouse was very healthy, but recently he/ she has been affected by a disease, which depresses me. I yearn for immediate relief. All the money I had saved is lost in treatment. Now I have to borrow money for treatment. O Jesus Christ, disasters strike me one after another. Sorrows overwhelm me. You bore our sorrows on the cross. Have mercy on me. Do away with all my sorrows and make me happy. O Lord, I am not able to sleep at nights, because of sorrows. I am afraid of any news for that might add to my woes. As You are my rock and refuge, I have not given up hope. It seems Satan is challenging me. Lord, be merciful to me. Make a good life with no sorrows to blossom.
