Ponder And Practice

Dearly beloved in Christ,

I greet you in the sweet name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Once I was led to pray with fasting for the ministry among the youth in America. So, I fasted and prayed. That night I had a dream. In that dream, I saw a young man staring at a dancing hall from his terrace. He asked me whether it was wrong to take part in dancing? He wore a T-shirt with the word ‘America’ on it. Then I shared with him that it was sinful. As he wanted to go and dance with the ladies there, he asked me this question in the dream. I told him what the Bible teaches in 1 Cor. 7:1-2: “It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.” Then I understood that his name was John and he requested me to go over there and share this fact with people there. There the dream ended. After this dream, I began to consider whether the Lord was leading me for ministry there in America.

At this time a call came from a Brother who was away from Trichy by some 50 km but worked with me in ministry, inviting me to go over there to pray for a retired man who kept leaving his house during mid-night without any reason. That day we went and prayed for that man and by the grace of the Lord he was delivered and his health was restored. He had a sister in America. She had come with her husband to see her sick brother. She saw her brother in good health and enquired how it was possible and wanted to meet us. So, I was invited to go over there to meet them. The husband of the lady was a high official in New York University. When I prayed for that man, I told him that he had the call of the Lord to work among the youth and enquired him why he did not do it. Then I told him the name of a servant of God who had called him to minister with him. I enquired him why he did not go. He replied that he had gone to do ministry with him but returned as it did not suit him. I also prayed for his health and strength and returned. After that, that man enquired my co-worker whether I would go to America for ministry. He intimated me about that and thereafter I was invited to do ministry there in America. That was the first time I started to go there for ministry.

Beloved in Christ, the Lord opens the door for ministry at the right time and at the right way to do ministry. We should be right in our relationship with the Lord and commit to be led by Him. He will make way for the door to open.

May the Lord bless you!

Bro. C. Ebenezer Paul.
