Dearly beloved in Christ,
I greet you in the name of our Redeemer and Saviour Jesus Christ!
Once a family came to me for prayer. In that family calamity struck them one after the other and they were greatly agonised. Loss after loss. By the grace of the Lord, they had been redeemed and had experienced salvation. They thought they could lead a peaceful and joyful life. But the life became miserable with delays, disappointments, struggles, and reproaches. They were sorely depressed; tears abounded. Satan kept multiplying troubles. We kept praying for the family, but no change was observed. Why was it so? One day at the time of prayer, the Lord revealed that there was in their house a coin with an image of an idol. I asked them to remove it. They denied that there was anything of the kind at their house. They had searched all the places. After a few days, they found a coin in the pen-stand with an image engraved on it. They showed it to me and threw it away.
Dearly beloved in Christ, if you have in your house or boundary any object that the Lord detests, the adversary Satan would have sway over the place and bring about destruction. If a dining table is unclean with scrums of leftovers of food, there come ants, and house-fly. Even if you chase them away, they keep coming. But if the table is cleaned and made free of these objects, nothing would come. Similarly, when you have objects detested by the Lord at home, Satan has free entry there. So let us remove any article unacceptable to the Lord. We would have the presence of the Lord at home and there would be blessings and wonders.
