“The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.”
Psalm 121:7

Dearly beloved in Christ,

I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Once a youth bought a new modern bike that would race speedily. His mother had bought it for him at a high cost. It gave him pleasure to go to college by it. Such a bike was available only with the police. His friends were delighted on seeing it. His friend wanted to ride on it. He made a request to him. He agreed. He asked him to ride with him. There was only one helmet. So he gave it to him and asked him to go alone. This friend did not know much about that vehicle. He thought it would be like the other vehicles and therefore he wanted to race as soon as it started. But he could not control it and it hit a nearby electric post. He died at the very spot. The youth who owned the vehicle had been cautioned by a servant of the Lord. He now realized the love of God for him in saving him from death. Dear child of God, you have now entered into a New Year by the grace of God. The Lord will protect you as the apple of the eye for He will preserve you from all evil. In Isaiah 27:3 He says: “I, the LORD, keep it, I water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I keep it night and day.” So He will protect you this year and will take care of you. Do not be dismayed.

                          May the Lord bless you!
