I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
There are people who suffer from lack of sleep during nights. They take drugs to sleep. They cannot sleep without them.
Once a sister went with her husband to do ministry in another place. They took with them all the tablets they needed. But they failed to take with them the required number of tablets for sleep. The doctor had prescribed tablets for sleep. But their family doctor was surprised at the dosage of those tablets and reduced it to half fearing that they would get addicted to it. The tablets she had were insufficient. But she could not get it over the counter at the medical shop as she had no prescription of the doctor. So she reduced the dosage and tried to overcome the situation. Even then there was no tablets for the last day. But she was not disturbed by it and she went to sleep as usual with a prayer. The Lord who gives deep sleep gives His beloved sleep. The Lord enabled her to sleep well. From that day she stopped taking tablets for sleep.
Dear Brother/ Sister, do you find it difficult to sleep at night? Are you worried over it? There are people in poverty sleeping peacefully on the roadside in streets. But you have no sleep. So you may yearn for sleep. Dear child of God, from today, learn to do what pleases the Lord. He will lead you wonderfully. The Lord who caused deep sleep in Adam will make you also to sleep well and bless you.
